Article 6: Objectives
The general objective
Organizing an annual world championship highlighting the capabilities of inventors and researchers in all disciplines and presenting them to all interested industrial, scientific and investment bodies and highlighting the scientific competition between countries and the progress of their members and their possession of the talent of creativity , invention and their ability to scientific research
Subobjectives:
- Promote a culture of entrepreneurship and trying to develop it among inventors and researchers
- Strengthening the bonds of cooperation and exchange between the countries of the world
- To give impetus to the regional mobility of inventors in Euro-Mediterranean and global countries;
- Highlight inventions that deserve to be marketed
- Establish links between the research world and the industrial world.
- Provide the opportunity for the inventor to promote his invention
- Establish direct contacts with manufacturers, industrialists, promoters, financiers, users and professional visitors.
- Raising the spirit of competition between researchers and inventors
- Enriching scientific research and inventions with the finest scientific and important topics
- Stimulating the international community's interest in the value of scientific research and inventions
- Enhancing the role of researchers and inventors in universities and institutions
- Exchange of scientific, innovative and creative experiences and knowledge
- Refining the skills of researchers and inventors through international participation

School students aged 18 years and above
Article 9: Relevant fields
Any natural or legal person who has submitted the invention or scientific research, regardless of the sector of activity, shall be eligible to participate in the competition.
Article 10: Participants in the Competition and Exhibition:
three categories are involved as follows :
- Individual inventors who hold a patent or have a patent filing and inventors who hold a patent or a patent filing from the institutions participating in this competition and this exhibition.
- Academics Patented in Scientific Researches
- School students aged 18 years and above
Category 1:
Independent Local Inventor: Every international natural person who owns a patent or filing a patent.
“Local Institutional Inventor - Any international public or private company and /or institution (whatever the sector of activity) , represented by one of its directors and any team represented by its public or private body, whether it has a patent or a patent filing.
category 2:
Category of academics: - Every international natural person who owns a patent or patent filing in any scientific sector
Category 3 : School students from the age of 18 years have any innovation or designed models
Note:
For participating companies and / or institutions and the international team, the award is given to the institution or team and not to the representative of the institution or the representative of the team .
Ineligible:
Jurors , experts required for this competition , as well as their family members (spouse , assets, grandchildren , first-degree relatives) , and cooperating partners in this competition.
Article 11: Conditions for participation
Participation in the competition and exhibition and the participant can submit and display several inventions ,to provide one main invention , in addition to other inventions, if any
Article 12 : Registration
a) You must submit a registration form to participate in the competition and exhibition online by completing the registration form on the competition website.
b) A letter of commitment signed by the contestant including a declaration of responsibility attesting to the category for which the contestant wishes to apply and full acceptance of the jury's deliberations. In fact , the Candidate undertakes not to file a complaint and to refrain from any administrative, judicial or other dispute against the organizers of the Competition;
(c) provide a copy of the application for registration of the patent, patent or filing at the international level; (where applicable)
d) Pattern of invention or prototype images if applicable.
f) File Submission:
This participant's file should include:
- A copy of the competition registration form (online registration) , to be printed from the website;
- a duly completed Contestant Identification Card;
- Letter of Commitment signed by the candidate.
- A copy of the patent or patent application.
- Pattern of invention or prototype images if applicable.
- The contract of marketing the invention by the organizer
Article 13 : Eligibility of applications
The competition is conducted in three stages: -
Phase I - Sorting applications from each country and nominating winners for the second phase from each country
Phase 2 - Sorting all applications from all countries and nominating the winners for the third and final phase
Phase 3 – Nomination of Finalists
Selection process:
First Administrative Selection of International Nomination Files, the Selection Committee will proceed with the eligibility of the received files on the basis of reading the identification sheet, commitment letter and invention marketing contract
Any unread and incomplete file with false indications of identity or address or without a signature will be considered void.
Only files that are considered complete and compliant with the rules will be kept for the evaluation phase. The selection committee will also verify that the submitted application files comply with the procedures set out in the competition rules, while reserving the right to reject any file if it does not meet one of the criteria.
The rejectors will be notified with the rejection and informed of the failure to win each specific stage or the failure to meet the conditions of the competition in all its details on the participant's email within a period of 15 days
Final selection by the international jury to select the top six winners by category Three inventors and three international researchers and the selection of three winners from the student category
Article 14: Selection criteria
Thus, the selection of inventions and researches will depend on the specified criteria in the application file compilation
When evaluating the inventions to be presented in the Inventions Exhibition, special attention will be given to the feasibility and applicability aspects of the invention, the value of the invention and the total number of points for several items conditionally according to the participation requirements file attached to the competition
Article 15: Schedule
Tournament Qualifying Stages
1 . First floor - 1/8 - 20/9
2. Judging the final round entries when participants attend
3. The Championship Ceremony and all events in October
Article 16 : Composition of the Jury
Nominated by international organizations, the host and competent ministries under the direction and supervision of the world body where the organizing committee will chair the jury, the jury can invite anyone , if it deems it necessary , to obtain technical advice during the various stages of selecting actionable scientific inventions and research.
Jury Powers: The members of the jury will be independent and sovereign. After examining the files , they will reserve the right not to award any prize , if they consider that the inventions or researches submitted do not sufficiently meet the criteria specified in the rules set out in the announced competition file, without any possibility for the contestants to object to the results.
The jury may also grant special indications as to the authenticity of the inventions offered.
Article 17: Grant process
When competitors are present at the venue of the tournament, they will be personally informed of the date and place of the oral presentation of their invention to the jury (maximum 20 minutes). The oral presentation of the invention is a mandatory element required to participate in the competition. To ensure better evaluation of inventions by the jury , candidates can attend with their presentations a Power Point presentation, a video, a prototype, a model , etc.
The jury will then collect the interview points with the previous points, sort the results, and assign:
- The top three winners of the category "Inventors";
- The top three winners of the category "Researchers and Academics";
- The top three winners of the school students category
The prizes awarded to the various winners will take into account the specificities of each category.
Article18 Value of prizes / prizes
The award ceremony for the nine winners will be accompanied by the International Invention Exhibition, the International Scientific Conference and any accompanying events announced .
Article 19: Obligation of Contestants
Contestants commit to:
fully agree to the terms and conditions set out in these Rules;
To make a word of honor regarding the truthfulness and correctness of the information they provide; any inaccuracy or omission likely to result in a miscalculation will result in the cancellation of the application file;
If their inventions are selected, you should attend and participate orally in the International Exhibition of Inventors and participate in the final selection of the winners of the International Invention Competition;
Participate in public relations and press processes related to the competition;
expressly authorize the organizers of the National Invention Competition to use and distribute their images (via paper or the Internet) and the main features of the activity of their inventions; They shall waive , only for the purposes of the Competition , any claim to any right in their photographs. They will Accept in advance the distribution of photographs that may be taken during the jury meeting and the award ceremony;
present their inventions in areas designated for the invention during economic events;
Attendance at the awards ceremony in October
- In case their inventions are not chosen, they should accept the deliberations of the jury and refrain from any administrative, judicial or other dispute against the organizers of the competition;
Article 20: Obligation of members of the Arbitration Committee
The members of the jury shall:
Participate in various meetings that the organizers of the competition will invite you for
Sign a confidentiality statement in which they commit to implement the following ethical principles: confidentiality, neutrality and conflict of interest;
Article 21: Cancellation of Entry
Once the candidate's file has been submitted, registered and validated , the contestant may withdraw at any time from the competition , with a simple written confirmation to the organizing committee where the file was registered.
Failure to comply with the regulations described in these rules will result in automatic cancellation of the application by the Organizing Committee.
Article 22: Confidentiality
The members of the jury and the persons who have access to the files filed under this competition undertake in writing (Confidentiality Agreement) to keep confidential all information relating to the inventions. No written documents will be sent at the end of the hearing and the day of selection.
No information sent by candidates to the jury may be disclosed or published without the express consent of the parties concerned. People who need to know the content are bound by the utmost professional secrecy. Likewise , the deliberations of the jury are confidential.
Article 23: Intellectual Property
Candidates make a declaration at their own risk that they own the full rights associated with their inventions and undertake to discharge and ensure the Organizing Committee of the Contest against any conviction that may be made against it on the grounds of infringement of the intellectual property rights attached to the candidate's invention. The members of the jury and the organizing committee of the competition cannot be responsible for the protection of ideas, patents, files, models, drawings or trademarks submitted by the contestant.
All intellectual, artistic or industrial property rights in connection with the invention , provided in the file or during the oral presentation, shall remain a full exclusive property for the candidates.
Article 24: partcipation Fees
Finalists – Candidates are responsible for the costs related to the submission of the application (preparation of the file , submission to the jury , travel expenses, etc. and any registration and administrative services fees).Accommodation expenses and no refunds will be made. In case of providing any free stays, the winners will be informed of the participation
Article 25: Litigation
These rules shall be governed by the law of the host State, any dispute concerning their interpretation and application being within the jurisdiction specialization of the host State. Candidates and Organisers will endeavour to settle amicably any dispute as to the validity, interpretation or implementation of the current rules relating to the conduct of the Competition. If the parties do not reach an amicable settlement, the disputes shall be referred to the competent courts of the receiving State.
Article 26: Force Majeure
Participation in this competition means full and unreserved acceptance of these rules. In case of force majeure , the Organizing Committee reserves the right to amend, postpone, shorten, extend or cancel this competition without incurring any liability. As a result , the Organizing Committee of the Competition also reserves the right to change the dates of the Schedules. Change the venue of the competition or cancel the submission of prizes without objection from any party to any changes that the committee deems appropriate. The contestants will be informed of any changes related to the conduct of the competition in the event of any changes
Candidates will not make any claim or claim for compensation. The same applies to members of the jury, experts and any other intervener who refrains from any claim or demand for compensation.
